About the Podcast

New Species Podcast was started in 2021 by Brian Patrick in order to share taxonomy news and bring awareness to the field. Zoe Albion joined the team in early 2022, and has taken over the podcast since August of that year when Brian "retired" from hosting to focus on his scientific work.

This podcast was created by Brian Patrick, and is edited and produced by Zoe Albion. The New Species website was made by Livia Miller.
